Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) What is your cancellation policy? We aim to be as fair and flexible as possible. Cancellations due to unsuitable weather (such as high winds or persistent heavy rain):
You may rebook for another date (subject to availability) at no extra cost, or receive a refund minus a £24 administration fee.
Cancellations for any other reason:
You may rebook for another date (subject to availability) at no extra cost, or receive a refund minus 25% of the booking value.
If Mr Bouncy Castle needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. Safety always comes first, and we will never operate in conditions we believe are unsafe. What happens if it rains? Light rain is usually not a problem, and many of our inflatables are supplied with a rain cover. However, for safety reasons, we cannot operate in heavy rain or high winds. If weather conditions are unsuitable on the day, we’ll work with you to either rebook for another date or arrange a refund in line with our cancellation policy above. Safety always comes first. What happens if it’s windy? We closely monitor wind conditions. For safety reasons, we do not operate inflatables if wind speeds exceed 24mph. If wind conditions are unsafe, we will contact you to discuss your options, including rebooking or a refund.
How long do I have the bouncy castle for? We offer flexible hire options to suit your event:
  • Half-day hire: up to 5 hours of use
  • Full-day hire: up to 8 hours of use
You can choose your preferred delivery and collection times between 10:00 and 20:00. (please note, the collection time in April and September is 18:30 due to the lack of light) For most of the inflatables, an overnight hire option is available. This allows delivery anytime after 10:00, with collection the following morning. Many inflatables are also available for 2-day hire directly through our website. Delivery can take place after 10:00, with collection before 17:00 the following day.

How can I book an inflatable? The quickest and easiest way to book is directly through our website. If you’re looking to hire multiple inflatables or can’t find a suitable package online, please get in touch by phone or email — we’ll be happy to help and may be able to offer a discounted price.
What do I need in order to hire a bouncy castle? To ensure safe setup and operation, the following requirements must be met:
  • The area must be large enough for the inflatable — all dimensions are listed on our website
  • The ground must be reasonably flat and level
  • A power source within 50 metres of the setup area is required (standard 13amp socket)
If you don’t have access to power, we can supply a generator for an additional £48, which includes fuel for up to 5 hours. If you are hiring the bouncy castle for a longer period of time, you will need to re-fuel the generator. Our team will ensure you have enough space fuel and show you how to re-fuel safely. We will also send you detailed instruction prior to the booking.
How long does it take to set up? Setup usually takes 20–30 minutes per inflatable, depending on access and staffing. If you’ve booked one of our larger products (like the 100ft Army Elite), please allow at least 1 hour for full set up. We’ll always work efficiently and with minimal disruption.
Do you set up on artificial grass, patios, or hard surfaces? Yes, in many cases we can set up on artificial grass, patios, or other hard surfaces, provided there is enough space and safe anchoring is possible. For private garden hires we can set up on artificial grass using a mixture of sandbags and securing the inflatable to suitable fixed objects. For larger events, we can set up on hard surfaces (like concrete or tarmac) using steel anchor bolts. Please let us know the surface type at the time of booking so we can bring the correct anchoring equipment. Do you provide supervision? For most private garden hires, supervision is the responsibility of the hirer. For events, schools, fetes, or pay-per-go setups, we can provide trained staff to supervise the inflatable(s).We typically charge the following rates: Weekend Staff: £48 per hour Weekday staff: £36 per hour
Are adults allowed on the bouncy castles? Yes — provided the inflatable is suitable. Many of our castles are designed for adults and older children, and these are clearly labelled on our website. To ensure the safety of users and protect the equipment, there is a maximum user weight of 90 kg / 14 stone.
How many children can use the bouncy castle at once? This depends on the size and type of inflatable. The advised maximum number of users is clearly labelled on the PIPA tag on the side of each inflatable. We always recommend smaller groups at a time and users should be of a similar size and weight to ensure safe and enjoyable use.
Do you clean the inflatables? Absolutely. All our inflatables are cleaned, and checked regularly. We take pride in keeping our equipment in excellent condition. All of our inflatables are crafted from high-quality materials, from reputable suppliers and are very well maintained. We never purchase from cheap suppliers with lower grade PVC.
Is there anything we should not do on the bouncy castle? For safety reasons:
  • No shoes, food, drinks, or sharp objects
  • No climbing on walls or hanging from netting
  • No acrobatics
  • No boisterous behavior or anyone under the influence of alcohol
  • Never switch the bouncy castle off and on again with children close by

What access do you need to deliver the bouncy castle? We’ll need clear and safe access from the delivery vehicle to the setup area. Please let us know in advance if access involves:
  • Steps
  • Narrow passageways (less than 0.8 meters)
  • Long distances (especially if they involve gravel)
  • Steep slopes
This helps us plan appropriately and avoid delays.
What if we need to change our booking details? If you need to change your booking (date, inflatable, or times), please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
